Language is very complex and sometimes it's hard to fathom because of the
principles and rules that has been laid down many years ago. Over the past years
people devise a lot of styles and uses different way of speaking, that's why colloquial
and rhetorical words are present. Because of such changes in language, some people
are having a hard time to grasp the newly formulated words that we use.

Misunderstanding occurs because of many reasons. The most common reason

is due to not everyone can speak the same language. For example, this word can mean
something bad to other language when translated word by word but it actually means
something normal to that language. It can be because of not being able to understand
what experience of the other individual has gone through. It may be because of not
being an open minded person. I know some people who are close minded when it
comes to a particular topic. These kinds of people are the ones who usually just say
what they want to say and don’t listen anymore to what the other person is saying. It
can also be because of the way we interpret things are different from each other which
results in misunderstanding. Also, explaining in a really well or in a clear and simple
manner is the key to understanding each other. These reasons lead to conflict which is
misunderstanding.
