● rotate roles within the group every three classes
● note ideas and references as you read on your graphic organizer
● prepare questions for discussion
● participate in a discussion
● complete a written task: reading journal entries, writing journal
entries or weekly discussion summaries.

Complex Task

Using the rubric for response, write a response to the novel that you read with
your literature circle group.
