1. Dùng để dự báo, dự đoán một sự việc trong tương lai.
VD: Prices will increase by 10% over the next year.
2. Dùng để diễn đạt một dự định trong tương lai
VD: I will open the door.

1. Dùng để dự báo, dự đoán một sự việc trong tương lai.
VD: Prices are going to increase by 10% over the next year.
2. Dùng để diễn đạt một dự định trong tương lai
VD: I am going to leave at 9 tomorrow morning.
Thì HTTD có thể được sử dụng để diễn đạt một sự việc trong tương lai. Khi đó, nó nói về
một dự định RÕ RÀNG và được lập ra trước thời điểm nói.
VD: We are going to a movie tonight.
WILL VÀ BE GOING TO ĐỀU CÓ THỂ DÙNG ĐỂ DỰ ĐOÁN, DỰ BÁO VỀ MỘT SỰ KIỆN TRONG TƯƠNG
LAI VỚI Ý NGHĨA NHƯ NHAU.
VD: (a) She is going to succeed because she works hard.
(b) She will succeed because she works hard.
BE GOING TO được dùng khi muốn diễn đạt một kế
hoạch đã được LẬP NÊN TỪ TRƯỚC (kế hoạch đã có
trước thời điểm nói)
(a) I bought some wood because I am going to build a
bookcase for my house  nhấn mạnh người nói đã có dự
định xây giá sách từ trước
WILL được dùng khi muốn diễn tả quyết định của một
người ngay tại thời điểm nói ra, thường được dùng để
diễn đạt SỰ SẴN SÀNG làm gì đó
(b) This chair is too heavy for you to carry alone. I’ll
help you.  người nói quyết định giúp đỡ vào thời
điểm nói ra mà không lên kế hoạch trước cho việc này
 

Trang is one of my colleagues. She is a lovely and cheerful person. She is always
friendly and kind to everyone. She is hard-working and quite ambitious in work.
I really appreciate what she is doing for our company.
Trang is one of my best friends. She is my classmate at university (Hoặc She and I

My father is sixty-five years old now. He is medium-height with tanned skin. He is

everything for my family. He is the hero of my life will always be.
