The students will be able to:

 differentiate the movie genres by looking at posters.


Objectives  express their preference of movie types in speaking context within
limited time.
 design a poster including plot summary according to movie types as a
group.
 indicate their opinions about their friends’ plot summary by writing at
least two sentences.

Activities
Activity Activity Description

The teacher asks students how their weekend was and talks about a
movie which she watches at the weekend. She will talk about its topic
Introduction and the type of the movie. Then she will attach some movie poster and
(10 minutes) introduce their genres. For example, she shows Lord of the Ring poster
and asks what kind of movie is it? Does anyone know? She gets the
answer or explain the genre as fantasy and give more information like
fantasy movies includes magical things, dragons or monsters etc.

Warm-Up Students will work as pair and ask each other what kind of film do you

Teacher hands out a kind of movie poster with its plot and she asks a
volunteer to read it aloud. After that she asks students to guess the genre
