Purpose:

to verify Hess’s law validity by conducting three reactions: dissolving solid sodium hydroxide,
neutralising aqueous sodium hydroxide and aqueous sulfuric acid, and dissolving solid sodium hydroxide
and neutralizing it with aqueous sulfuric acid. The enthalpy of each reaction will be determined, and
calculations will be done to verify Hess’s law.
