    EPS (Evolved Packet System) bearer is a logical connection in LTE between a UE (User Equipment) and PDN (Packet Data Network). It provides the basic transmission path for both data and signaling in LTE. An EPS bearer is established during the attach procedure and activated during the PDN connectivity procedure to provide IP connectivity for the UE. EPS bearers allow the delivery of IP packets in LTE networks by associating a radio bearer and a tunnel between the access network and the core network.
