The French management consultancies have recorded a
growth of more than 12%. It employs over 42,000 staff, of which over 38,000 are consultants.
The French association of management consultancies shows
that the past two years have been an excellent market. The management consulting revenues saw growth of 8.5% in 2016, and 10.5% in 2017. Unlike UK, French consultants did not face any recession; instead they made a sales of nearly 7.3 billion Euros reaching an average growth of 12%.
France is home to over 1000 established consulting firms,
with practically all of the globe’s leading players based in the country.
The French’s consulting market is particularly vulnerable
to a recession as the French growth is tied to the European growth. With Brexit also likely to have a knock-on impact on the continental growth, the idea of double- digit expansion could still all away.
But the French consulting firms remain distinctly upbeat,
and are preparing for an uncertain, but most likely another boom year.
