WALLIS ANNENBERG CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS

Salvatore Ferragamo is delighted to invite you to Beverly Hills, Ca, for the grand inaugural gala of the Wallis
Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts.
The extraordinary preservation of the historic Beverly Hills Post Office and its transformation into the most
exciting new cultural destination of the city fall on the eve of the 100th anniversary of Salvatore Ferragamo’s
arrival in the United States, where his legend as “shoemaker to the stars” began.

You will have the privilege to admire the grandiose spaces of the Center before anyone else, on Wednesday,
October 16th at 7pm, when the Ferragamo family will welcome guests for a cocktail and private visit of the
venue, to which a seated dinner will follow in the very halls of the historic Post Office (cocktail attire.)

The official opening festivities will take place the following evening, on Thursday, October 17th, with a formal
gala for 1000 (black tie is required) chaired by Wallis Annenberg, Jamie Tisch, Brad Pitt and Robert Redford.

The program of the evening, starting at 6pm, features a one night only inaugural performance comprised of
a cast of A-list stars in the new Goldsmith Theatre. As the theatre can seat 500, guests will be divided in two
groups to attend the show in sequence; after that, they will reach the outside terrace for cocktails.

All 1000 guests will finally gather in the temporary pavilion expressely built aside the Center to host the gala
dinner, starting at 8:30pm (Italian Il Borro and Castiglion del Bosco wines will be served at both dinners on
Wednesday and Thursday.)
During the gala dinner, guests will enjoy a unique performance by Italian tenor Vittorio Grigolo, one of the most
famous and respected opera singers of our time. He chose for this evening an all-Italian repertoire, to signify
the deep roots in the Italian culture and longtime commitment to the excellence of made in Italy of the Floren-
tine house, which will present the latest S/S 2014 runway show by Massimiliano Giornetti enriched by several
new outfits specifically created for the occasion.
A Salvatore Ferragamo pop up shop will be open within the center, too, featuring exclusive products created
in lieu of the brand’s anniversary and special occasion.

We look forward to having you join us to celebrate both this milestone event in the cultural life of the city of Los
Angeles and Salvatore Ferragamo’s history and legend.
