There are marked asymmetries of access to the various decision-making processes, with developing countries having to abide by and/or shoulder the effects of rules and regulations over which they have limited influ-ence. Asymmetries in both decision-making and various processes related to global governance have important implications for asymmetries of outcomes. The current global governance structure also reflects the asymmetric character or the unbalanced nature of globalization.
