Project Objectives

1.1.1 General Objective

The main objective of the project is to provide medical services and satisfies the medical needs of the
people in Jagna, Bohol by designing and rebuilding a hospital structure (structure of five stories). In this
project, appropriate foundation systems are proposed and analyzed. The project includes an architectural
and structural design of the hospital structure.
1.1.2 Specific Objectives
1. To design and provide an efficient cost and estimate of the hospital structure.
2. To design and analyze the different effect caused by different loads with corresponding load
multiplier.
3. To design a hospital structure in Jagna, Bohol using the specifications and standards given by the
National Building Code of the Philippines and the National Structural Code of the Philippines.
4. To design and lessen the effect of seismic and wind loads to the structure.
5. To weigh-in the trade-offs based on the limitations in order to differentiate what is the most effective
design choice.
