Installation of Nessus (Possible Errors)

To get an activation key Nessus will not accept Gmail account (any personal Email
account), you need an institute mail id to get an activation key.

Error: “parameter architecture does not match system (amd64)”

Solution: Download and install amd64 version of Nessus (available just above the
i386 version).

Error: If your network uses proxy server then you may face problem when you
open https://kali:8843.
Solution: Add your user name (for ex. kali in our case) in ignore host section as
shown below.
