I am so excited to be your child’s Kindergarten teacher. It’s going to be a great year full of new friends,
new adventures, and new discoveries. This will be my first year teaching at Herff Elementary. I enjoy
reading, CrossFit, surfing, coffee, rock climbing, and all things outdoors. Let’s make this an incredible
year!

In this classroom:

Your child is cared about. I value their ideas, thoughts, and actions. They have unique talents and
strengths, and I can’t wait for them to share those with their classmates. They will bring so much to our
class, and I can’t wait to learn more about them. In our classroom, we have respect for each other. We
follow directions first time right away, and we help each other because it gives us happy hearts. We
raise our hands when we want the teacher’s attention, and I raise my hand to get the class’ attention
through “Give Me Five”. In our classroom we also have our own bubbles. I have my space and you have
your space, so we keep our hands and objects to ourselves.

Contact Me:
I love to have conversations with parents throughout the year. Seesaw is a wonderful app where we can
communicate daily, but we will also communicate through parent/teacher conferences and other times
during the year. Parent/teacher conferences will occur 4 times during the year, but we can meet more
often should you have a concern.
