PREFACE

Training at any business organizations makes the student more practical and habitual to analyze
the situation in more crucial a refined way, which ultimately contributes a later stage of practice.
It also helps in filling up the gap between theoretical and practical experience. The business
winner will be those organizations that size and expert opportunity by strategically positioning
themselves.

The basic aim of the training in management field is to know how to apply management theories
in practical. As it is said that Experience makes men perfect, therefore practical study is very
important for management students. Practical training helps in comprehending the theory of
subject taught in a classroom. This is most important in case of management education.

The objective of this project is to find out the Perceived Organizational Support in the
organization.

We are surving the following pages that will endow the reader with insight in to the employees
Perceived Organizational Support with special reference to organization culture from the
corporate view-point. This study has been very useful learning experience about views of
employees Job Involvement and reward level in the organizations.

whole journey, I have experienced guidance and inspirations from many people.

project work. It is a regard to all those who rendered their valuable support to make this project
during the whole project work information.

With reverence and gratitude, I would like to thank Dr. Chetan J. Lad, Director, MBA
Department, Naranlala School of Industrial Management and Computer Science, for providing
all the required infrastructure and facilities needed to complete my work.

At the onset, I would like to express my heartiest thanks to Dr. Vishal J. Mali, my
project guide, who gave me an opportunity to undertake a project at NIF MECHANICAL LTD
fresh. I am most obligated to my project guide and my mentor who provided must need
constructive criticism, unending inspiration, valuable and pain taking guidance, encouragement,
untiring and constant help, and above all his positive attitude towards my abilities made the
achievement of this goal, a challenging enjoyable, and rewarding and stimulation experiences.

I would like to thank HR Manager Ms. Priyanka (HR Manager) and all the employees of
NIF Mechanical Works Pvt. Ltd. Who co-operated with me in providing some information I take
this opportunity to owe my thanks to all those involved in my summer internship project.

Lastly I want to pay my hearted thanks to my friends and respondent who gave to me their
valuable suggestion and guidance in completing my project.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The project report containing market research on “A Study on Perceived Organizational Support
And Internal Locus of Control” is a partial fulfilment of requirement of MBA sem-4 in
Naranlala school of industrial management and computer science in NIF MECHANICAL LTD.

It is important to understand the employees Perception towards the support offered by company.
The information for the study was collected through structured questionnaire that included all the
factors regarding perception and Locus of Control.

This study helped in determining the most important factors that influence employees to perceive
the support offered by company.

The data for the study was collected primary and secondary sources. For gathering primary data,
I have taken sample of 203 respondents from company.

Research concludes that the majority of the employees perceive that the organization is always
ready to help them in their professional as well as personal life.
