HOSPITAL EMERGENCY CALL APPLICATION

Country: Rwanda

Case study: CHUK Hospital

What market need does our application address?

 Here in Rwanda different hospital doesn't have the way they can know that their patients
need emergency help while they are in patient's room that where comes our application,
where every patient's room will have a button where he/she can press in case of
emergency help so that it can alert in hospital system that room number something needs
an emergency help.
 According to research made by us with some of CHUK Hospital's employees using
interviews, they told us that there is a large number (100 patients per year) of people
dying in case they can have emergency help and get back to life.

What is your solution to the problem?

 Our solution to the problem is the functionality of our application system in the following
way, we will configure our application system in the Hospital's system and provide a
device to the patient which he/she will press in case of emergency call so that he/she can
get emergency help quickly.
 for example, there is a patient in room number 4 and have cardiac arrest and in that case,
he/she needs emergency help, that where our application system come because he/she
will be able to press that button located on the device he/she hold so that emergency call
is made and the hospital system get an alert that room number 4 need an emergency help.

What your target market?

 Our target market is Rwandan hospitals, working with MINISANTE "Ministry of hearth"
here in Rwanda we will introduce our system and its functionality in helping people's
lives and reducing death in hospitals.

How will you make money?

 First of all, our purpose is not to make money, our purpose is to save people's lives
because everyone deserves a happy and better life.
 Secondly, we will work with different hospitals here in our country by starting with
CHUK hospital testing it to see the changes and after we will work with other hospitals
and have contract with them in terms of money and maintenance of the system.
Who is your competitors?

 we have no competitors because it is an application system that we are trying to check

whether it can save people's lives and it doesn't already exist in our country.
