Culture is one of the aspects that plays a vital role in influencing every individual with the way we think,

portray one selves, and deal with one another. Culture per se creates social practices among nations
across the world leading into great hindrance or as we all known as Barrier. This barrier is a factor
resulting to misunderstanding; and by expanding our horizon, barriers can be overcome.

The relationship between culture and communication can be interpret in so many ways. First off, culture
is also a result of communication, where in communication implies human interaction through which
culture, whether beliefs, laws etc. are created and shared. Likewise, communication can be considered
as the key ingredient for culture without communication it is impossible to conserve and maintain such
culture.

From a personal perspective, the factors that can be considered on the things that contributes to
barriers of intercultural communication are negligence, biases, and language barrier.
Firstly, Negligence because people are careless in terms of giving opinions toward subject matter which
sometimes are sensitive to others. As well as biases, because people nowadays has a mind-set of
negative perception towards other race, religion, skin color or ethnicity. Lastly, with the presence
language barrier communication gap is created which leads to disadvantages of exchanging ones ideas.
