When in Metro manila, do not miss out on taking a short visit to one of the famous
tourist destination and a world heritage site standing right in the heart of San Juan City,
the magnificent Sanctuario del cristo Church, or also known as the Santo Cristo Church.

What makes Sanctuario del cristo Church outstanding from other well-known churches
around the country is its impressive dynamic-like structure considered as a primary
example of the earthquake baroque style of architecture characterized by its thick walls
made from coral stones and bricks.

Its facade is reminiscent of Spanish and Filipino influences with its gothic, baroque
design. Inside the church is the centuries old miraculous image of Our Crucified
Lord as a centerpiece.

The beautiful standpoint of the church, peaceful landscape surrounding the building,
and the blue skies as background all combined makes the church a one of a kind scenic
attraction inside Metro Manila.
