Additional Comments and Improvements

1. Design and execution of the study performed

The author has done a proper study of the topic with a useful and concise
literature review. The execution of the design, according to the block
diagram and results seem to be done correctly. The images of the circuit
working and LCD [4(a,b), 5(a,b)] need to be more structurally consistent
with each other. The author has a scope of adding some more details, such
as the result analysis flowchart, if any and elaborate further on actions
taken after the detection of an abnormal heart rate. An excellent point of
encryption of the data, cryptographic tools used by Middleware elaborated
by the author quite correctly. In the conclusion section, limitations of the
system mentioned, but the author can work on mentioning the possible
solution for them.

2. Acknowledgment to the existing body of relevant work

The paper is fairly referenced. Reference no. 11, which is a web-based

source, is not referenced according to IEEE standards. A web-based
source should be referenced in the following format-

 uthor(s) Initial(s). Surname(s), Title of the Webpage,

A
Publisher/Production information (if relevant), Abbrev. Month.
Day, Year of Publication. Accessed on: Abbrev. Month. Day, Year.
[Type of medium]]. Available: site/path/file

There were some errors in referencing found as well, e.g., in the proposed
methodology, reference no. 11, An Introduction to ThingSpeak is wrongly
assigned to PPG sensor working. The author has considerable room for
improvement in referencing the paper.

3. Interpretation of results

The results are documented appropriately, and the system proposed is also
tested in real-time. The results obtained are compared with the existing
method used.

4. Inclusion of other possible interpretations

The system explained through the block diagram works the same as
explained, the pictures shown in the results sections prove it well. But if the
system is to be used for real-time analysis then it has to be secured, So
there could have been a security algorithm to allow only privileged access
to sensitive information such as the heart rate of a person.

5. Contribution to the body of scientific knowledge in the field

The healthcare industry is one of the major application areas of IoT. As a result of
advancement in this industry, there is a need for more and more accurate and
wirelessly operated sensors. The proposed design, which is practically tested,
possesses the capability to be developed further into a more modular prototype.
The use of the PPG sensor, which is quite new and more reliable compared to
usual heart-beat sensors, the need to use encryption in transmitting medical data
are some contributions made to the existing foundation of knowledge in biomedical
electronics.

6. Quality of language

Overall, the quality of language is good, but there are quite a few spelling
and grammar mistakes in major sections of the paper and also in some of
the section titles. The author can use online grammar tools to eliminate
spelling, grammar and punctuation errors.
