Classroom Summary

In this classroom, I am going to make sure that every student has their space to sit and

be comfortable. I wanted to incorporate a bar in the back of the classroom because the kids

that need to walk or swivel in their chairs are able to. I would prefer to have “T” tables in the

class so that every student is able to have a perfect view of the front of the room. I chose to not

put a closed off desk in my room because I want the students to feel as if they are welcome to

approach me at any time for open communication between teacher and students. I also added

a comfort corner that will have a couch and a plush chair so students can have that corner to

study. I also want to use that corner to give feedback to students to let them know that it is a

safe space and a pace where they can be comfortable. This is my ideal classroom and I would

love to eventually use this to my advantage.

This classroom is set up for students to work with each other for the majority of the

time while I guide and give students growth in lessons and work with each other. I have about

35-40 different chairs in the classroom because as an English teacher, these classes will more

than likely be at maximum capacity of class size. Even with the size of the class, this set-up

should give students comfort in the classroom.
