RACE DAY GUIDE
5 - 7 May 2017 Mount Rinjani National Park, Lombok, Nusa Tenggara Barat, Indonesia
For 60KM and 100KM, the GPX files are slightly different from 2016 Edition. There are slight diversions
before Likun, and near finish. If you downloaded the gpx files before 30 April 2017, please download the
updated version below. The GPX files for 27KM and 36KM remain the same as 2016.
GPX Version: 30 April 2017 (see https://rinjani100.com/gpx)
GPX: 100KM, 60KM, 36KM, and 27KM
GPX ZIPPED: 100KM, 60KM, 36KM, and 27KM
GPS devices are sometimes not accurate, so please use these GPX files as GUIDANCE only. You
will still need to watch out for markers on the route, and apply some common sense as well.
Due to various variables in GPS accuracy and methods of extrapolation, please note that
numbers are not exact.
Please bring your own additional source of energy, such as energy gels, bars, snacks, dates, chewys,
breads, whatever works for you in training. Plan your nutrition accordingly. Study the course maps and
the accompanying water station tables provided at https://rinjani100.com/course-maps
Take note which stations are marked with Beverages, Fork & Spoon icons.
W4 NOTE: only drinks will be provided at W4, NO FOOD. Refuel yourself at W2 (Sembalun Rim)
instead.

I. REMINDER
We must reiterate that it is forbidden to run Rinjani 100 using bib that is not your own, and forbidden to
pass your bib to be used by others, for the following reasons:
1) Safety. Ultra trail running event such as Rinjani 100 is a tough race, physically and mentally.
Accurate personal information is critical for us to monitor your progress, race status, head counts,
and even more so during emergency and medical attention.
2) Security. We need to make sure that everybody in the race is accounted for.
3) Data Integrity. We will be submitting the race results to ITRA/UTMB for points evaluation. So,
everyone should be entitled only to what they earn.
Having said that, we also must apologize that at this late stage of preparation, we could not
accommodate change of name for registered runners who can't make it.
Looking forward to your cooperation, here's for a better race experience for all of us.
Runners found wearing other's bib, will be immediately disqualified, with further sanctions might be
imposed.
