Dear Parents,
Our story this week was So Much! By
Trisha Cooke. The story is all about
family and family members having a
surprise birthday party for dad. . Our
vocabulary words were: mom, mother,
mommy and mama (for mom words),
dad, daddy, father and papa (for dad
words) and baby. For our “ME” books
the children made “ME” body collages.
In ASL literacy, the children expanded
upon signs and story concepts for So
Much with Francisca and Amy. In
Integrated literacy with Katy and
Tara, the children worked on letters,
mouth movements and vocabulary
words. We had SO MUCH fun!

REMINDERS:
1. Thursday, December 21 is an early dismissal
day. The children go home at 1 p.m.
2. Winter break is from Friday, December 22
through Wednesday, January 3. School
resumes on Thursday, January 4.

3. Our ECE Teaching Strategies Gold (TSG) things!
Parent/Teacher Conference in on Friday, January
12 from 8:00 am till 4:00 pm. If you have not
yet signed up for a time slot, there are still a
few slots left. Shared a favorite book.
4. If you haven’t already done so, please send in
a photo of the front of your home. We will use
these photos in the weeks to come in our “All
About Me” study.
