To compare how often I used 150
different devices, I transferred my
data into a two-column table with 100
"Devices Used" and "Time Used." 50
When doing this, I was sure to use
one consistent measurement 0

When comparing multiple variables,
a bar graph works best because it
provides a good comparison
between variables. Make sure all
graphs have a title (Digital Diary),
axis titles on both the x-axis
(Devices Used) and y-axis (Time
Used), and appropriate scales (50 -
100 - 150,...)

sktop Breakdown A pie chart (or pie graph) works
best for "breakdowns." Pie charts
breakdown the data for one specific
variable. Comparing things like
temperature in fall, grades in a
classroom, or genres of books
students read are all circumstances
in which you should use a pie chart
anvas Cogbooks

Phone Breakdown

For pie charts with many

components (like th iPhone
breakdown), a 3-D pie chart works
es YouTube Music / Spotify best because it makes the smaller
Facebook Wells Fargo App components (like iMessages and
