The Jacksonville Children’s Chorus Presents Cool Side of Yuletide

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Sept.17, 2019) – The Jacksonville Children’s Chorus will perform their
annual Cool Side of Yuletide Concert on Dec. 14 at Hendricks Avenue Baptist Church to sing
Christmas and Hanukah favorites and gain exposure.

There will also be special performances by Voices of Jacksonville. Voices is the professional
adult ensemble associated with JCC consisting of faculty and alumni.

There will be two separate concert times. The first will be at 4:00 p.m. and the second will be at
7:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased on the JCC website for $25 each. They do typically sell out,
so plan on purchasing them soon.

JCC member Emma said, “The JCC is more than just a chorus; it is a truly life-changing
experience. The Chorus has opened me to new experiences, provided me with once-in-a-lifetime
opportunities and helped me discover singing is not just one of my interests but rather a lifelong
passion.”

Ultimately, JCC strives to increase the appreciation and awareness of choral music through
outreach, performance and education. The organization values diversity and is dedicated to
offering unique experiences through music.

President of Compass Consulting Group Scott C. Snyder said, “Music is such a valuable part of
life. The way it enriches one’s life and encourages creativity, I do not believe anything else can
do as much. We in Jacksonville are certainly blessed to have the Jacksonville Children’s
Chorus.”
