A week after school started, the math teachers conducted the SB359 survey. All 9th

graders in RSP & SDC were surveyed too. I met with Rosa Bullock (GHS) & Lorraine

Pegorari (AHS) and we went over each student's record - who were self-selected on the

survey for Accelerated Math 1. Interestingly, there were more students this year who

were interested in moving to Accelerated Math1.

Result of the Survey: We had several students who performed a "4- Exceeded

Standards" and "3- Met Standards" in mathematics on the CAASPP at both school

sites! We identified 10 students at Gladstone and 8 students at Azusa.
