Construction Module Reflection

1. Implementation of Feedback:

The feedback that we received on our project was mostly positive! However one thing

that was pointed out was the lack of navigation buttons. On each of our slides we decided to

include a home button that would bring the user back to the very start of the slide, however we

realized after a while it might be a good idea to have a back button too. We did not have enough

time left before turning in the project to include this into our project, so we just left it with the

home button. If I had more time, I would have spent it linking a separate back button that would

bring the user back one previous step.

2. Learning Reflection:

Looking back at the project and feedback we received, there are a few things I learned

about the revision process. I learned that a lot of people like to give compliments on a project,

but I would actually like to hear criticism more so I know what to fix. I also learned that not

everything can be perfect, and if someone suggest an edit, you have to see how plausible it is and

if you can add it in, add something similar to what they said, or just leave it out. If I did this

project again, I would probably ask more students to peer review out PowerPoint so I could

change more about it.

3. Alternative Use/Future Directions

This “app” style that we used in PowerPoint can actually be a very useful tool. While

most people's projects I saw were fun or funny, I can actually see this being used in a teaching

setting. It can help students learn new topics in an interactive way, and let them play a game of

some sort while still learning what is right and what is wrong.
