The Philippine Government

To whom it may concern,

To be straightforward, the Iceland-proposed resolution was proposed to further investigate the
Extrajudicial killings aka violation of human rights in our country. Why vote against the United
Nations Human Rights Council if human rights weren’t violated in the first place? I appeal for us
Filipinos to have our human rights back and citizens that are involved with illegal drugs be given
the chance to redeem themselves such as rehabilitation instead of an immediate “solution”
without proper investigation. Target drug lords and not mere citizens who just happened to
stumble upon the use of drugs. Treat addiction like it is, a mental health issue, and not as a
crime.
