Head, body and shell (1x):

start with colour for head and body
1. Rd: ch 2
2. Rd: 6 sc in 2nd ch from the hook 6
3. Rd: 2 sc in every st around 12
4. Rd: 2 sc in every 2nd st around 18
5. Rd: 2 sc in every 3rd st around 24
6. Rd: 2 sc in every 4th st around 30

Now is a good time to fix the eyes if you are using safty eyes (between Rd 5 & 6 oder 6 & 7, leave
5 sc between eyes) – buttons could be sewed on later.

start stuffing the head
10. Rd: *2 sc, 2 sctog* 18
11. Rd: *1 sc 2 sctog* 12
stuff the head nicely firm – go on stuffing as you work
12.-30. Rd (18 Rounds): 12 sc 12
!!from Rd 24 on stuff only lightly. The body will be rolled up – too much stuffing will be hindering
change to colour for the shell
31. + 32. Rd: 12 sc 12
33. Rd: 2sc in every 3rd st 16
34.-47.: 16 sc 16
48. Rd.: sc around and on the inside (the side facing the head) 1x 2 sctog 15
49.-52.: 15 sc 15
53. Rd.: sc around and on the inside (the side facing the head) 1x 2 sctog 14
54.-57.: 14 sc 14
58. Rd: sc around and on the inside (the side facing the head) 1x 2 sctog 13
59.-62. Rd.: 13 sc 13
