Please consider my application for the Claims QA PL Manager position. For the past 29 years with
Nationwide, I have demonstrated innovation, adaptibility and excellence as a leader and problem
solver, and I would love the opportunity to leverage this extensive experience to lead this new team

I have handled all levels of casualty, property and MD litigation in four zones, covering 19 states, as
well as the corporate contingent lawsuits for the Southern Claims Zone and the Central Plains Zone.
As a Claims Quality Assurance Specialist, I conducted technical file reviews and audits for Personal
Lines to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures. Additionally, I have served as
Special Arbitrator for Arbitration Forums in multiple states for over 15 years.

In my current role as a National Recovery Manager, my extensive claims background combined with
my time spent in QA has served me well in providing coaching and feedback, assisting with
development plans, and facilitating needed training for the Associates that report to me.

I feel that my experience in leadership and quality assurance make me uniquely qualified for this
