Teaching Philosophy

I believe that each child is special, and each child deserves the best education possible. I

will build a relationship with my students so that they feel safe and successful in my classroom.

I will learn their strengths and weakness, so that I can challenge them to grow. I will teach with

different and exciting methods to engage my students and to teach them to love learning.

I will provide structure and have expectations. This will allow students to have routines.

However, I will also teach them to be flexible and except change. I will be fair and listen to my

students and show them that their voice matters. This will help students not only to build a

positive relationship with me but also their peers. They will learn respect and empathy for each

other and others.

For me, teaching is a way to impact a child’s life in a positive way. I want them to feel

loved and love to learn. This takes not just being a teacher but loving being a teacher. Anyone

can be a teacher, but a good teacher is the one that takes the extra time or steps to build

relationships and adjust teaching and make learning fun so that students receive the best

education possible and love learning and grow to become our great future.
