3.0 Synopsis
This course is an advancement and continuation of Engineering Graphics & CADD
whereby the students will broaden their basic knowledge in 3D parametric modeling
application. The aim of this course is to provide students with an understanding of
advance 3-dimensional modeling. Emphasis is on 3D modeling generation skills which
can be simulated at early stages of the design process. Students will explore the
creation and editing of splines, conics, surfaces and surface design solid bodies in the
context of feature-based design. Classroom activities will complement and will be
supported by lab exercises with explanations and demonstration of related activities.
