1. Dead language is not represent the idea of grammar because grammar means study of
learning how to speak properly and learning how to write good English .
2. If speakers doesn’t know the rules of grammar then it will ruin the communication
process because the good communication needs proper grammar to put on, so that the
receiver can get the meaning.
3. Semantics : Part of language that concern on the system of meaning. Its related to
idea/thoughts that want to be shared through sentence.
Grammar : Mechanism or construction of how language works in certain way.
Phonology : Study about the system of sound in language.
4. Being prescriptive means that people ought to used the correct language or how
people think language should be used. For example, as a Javanese people, theres a
hierarcy of using appropriate language, people use ‘krama’ language to the parents or
the oldest instead of using ‘madya’ or ‘ngoko’.
