CONTAMINATION INDEXES

COCHABAMBA:
The person in charge of the Network of quality Monitoring of the Air (Network
MoniCa) of the Mayoralty, Alain Terán, informed that between May 6 and 12, the
contamination increased up to 327 Pm 10 (solid and liquid particles). On May 12 a
reduction registered to 163 Pm 10. As well as, last weekend, it went over at a red
level, which “villain” means, in the scale of virtual interactive panels that
receive and give information of the quality of the air, by means of indexes of air
pollution, interpreted in scales of color, located in three points of the city.

MEXICO:

One of the biggest cities of the world will remain wrapped between the heat and
the contamination. Although for the time being the inhabitants of the Mexico
City will be able to return to the parks and to its bicycles, to the cigarets and
the walk in the evening, the taste they can last very little.

CHILE:

The quality Index of the Air for Particle (ICAP) on the night of last
Wednesday reached a record of 1.646 of ICAP, three times higher
indicator of when environmental emergency was decreed in Santiago last
Monday, the 22nd of June.
