The Impacts of Globalization on Farmers

ABSTRACT

The effect of globalization on small businesses has received a lot of attention in international circles in

the past few years. One of the reasons for the international focus on SMEs is that these firms make

significant contributions to the economy of both developing and developed countries. This research is all

about the impacts of globalization on small businesses on the Philippines. It aims to investigate the

effects of globalization on small business. Most of the previous researchers in this area conducted a

qualitative; I’ve decided to do quantitative research which can help us to get a deeper and better

understanding on globalized small business. The methodology that can be use is questionnaire and

interview, which entailed random respondents coming from different small business specifically the

following questions, will be answered; what are the impacts of globalization on small business, how

does globalization affects small business, the negative and positive effects of globalization on small

business growth and development.
