DESCRIPTION
Philosophy of Education-

I want to encourage, communicate, and educate to foster ambition

and challenges while serving elementary kids so that every kid has
the curiosity to learn.

PROJECT MEDIUM (MULTIMEDIA)

The project medium I have chosen to express my TEL 111

Philosophy of Education is a gallery. I believe that sometimes words
are better expresses with pictures or visual presentations. I want to
express my emotions and feelings of my philosophy through several
pictures and quotes under each photo instead of a long paragraph.

POTENTIAL BENEFITS OF MULTIMEDIA

Sometimes, pictures convey ideas better than words. Expressing our
ideas and imagination could be hard to say in words but a picture
could convey more. It is not easy to write a philosophy of our own
and I want to express my philosophy through pictures and quotes.
POTENTIAL CHALLENGES OF MULTIMEDIA

I used a Word document for my gallery. I faced challenges when

putting the pictures and quotes together. It was hard to make all
four pictures fit in that one page with all the quotes so in the end, I
ended up using a PowerPoint.

ARTIST STATEMENT

The gallery represents my philosophy of education. At a young age, I

undoubtedly wanted to be a teacher when I grow up and here, I am
majoring in an elementary education in college. Teachers I had in
elementary school were the kindest and softest teacher I’ve ever
met. Because of that, I also want to be remembered as a person
that is kindhearted in someone’s memory. Being a teacher may seem
easy to people’s eye but it is otherwise. I have encounter many
types of teacher, good and bad. Rather than explaining why they are
good or bad, I want to tell their ways of handling a class and its
students. Some teachers did class rules and reminded the class their

rules frequently. Others don’t even have rules, the teachers just start
their lesson right away.
