THE AL-HIJRAH GORONTALO CITY ORPHANAGE’S FOUNDATION
TOWARDS MARRIAGE GUARDIAN. Guided by each Adivisor I : Prof. Dr.
Johan Jasin, SH., M.Hum and Advisor II : Zamroni Abdussamad, SH., MH. Law
Science Department Faculty of Law of State University of Gorontalo.

The aims of this research are to investigate and analyze the force of law
towards marriage guardian of the Al-Hijrah Gorontalo city orphanage’s
foundation, then, to investigate what are the consequences of law caused by a
marriage which the marriage guardian Al-Hijrah Gorontalo city from orphanage’s
foundation. The type of this research is normative study which supported by field
data
The result showed, that status and position of marriage guardian which
conducted by the orphanage’s foundation concerning the marriage of their foster
child permitted and that is legal status on the basis of Islamic Law, because the
marriage has accepted the blessing of the parents. But, the marriage is unlawful
based on marriage law number 1 of 1974 especially things related marriage
registration.
The consequences of the law against a marriage which their marriage
from Al-Hijrah guardian orphanage’ foundation only affects unpublication of
marriage certificate, because both marriages were not registered at the office of
affairs.
