Participants are directed to come on time.
3. This Seminar-Workshop is another initiated program by the Cebu Province division to
improving/furthering the social, emotional and academic growth of each learner especially
‘those who are at-risk of dropping out; and based on previous DsMEA results from the
different (57) districts, there was quiet a significant number of learners from the different
districts or municipalities who were at-risk of dropping out (LARDOs), thus, this learning
event came into being or picture in order to address that issue or concern. This further
intends to capacitate the participants in handling/teaching and preparing learners to
become responsible citizens by providing a safe and enriching classroom environment for
them to grow academically, socially and emotionally (in the classrooms), and for them to
succeed.
4. Participants are the selected Elementary and Secondary teachers of the 57 districts
of the Division of Cebu Province having the most number of LARDOs in their respective
station. There are 313 participants based on the attached list (Please see attach for the list of
participants). There are 5 participants each district (3 from elementary and 2 from
secondary, except of the districts mentioned below).

5. Members of the training team, speakers, admin/logistics support staffs will be given
Compensatory Time-off (CTO) for services rendered during Sunday, Saturday or Holiday
while, Teacher participants will be given Service Credits for the services they rendered on
December 7, 2019 in accordance to the existing Civil Service Commission (CSC) or DepEd
Orders issuances.
6. The Medical Section/Nurse Section c/o Dr. Virgilio C. Tantuico/Asterteie A. Bernales
is also hereby directed to assign at least two (2) nurses at the training venue during the
Three-day activity.
7. Members of the Program Management Team/Training Support Staff are required to
be at the venue on Day Zero (December 4, 2019) for the ocular inspection as well as for the
preparation of materials to be used for the said activity. Expenses such as, venue,
‘accommodation and as well as their breakfast on the following day shall be charged against
Division HRD/MOOE Funds, subject to its availability and the usual accounting and auditing
rules and regulations.8 Participants are required to evaluate the training online tool (Attn: Mrs. Maria
Socorro N. Relacion-SEPS M&€E).
9. Participants from Bantayan and Camotes Islands are also given Day Zero and dinner
will be provided.
10. The said training-workshop is on live-in/stay-in arrangement. Travel and other
incidental expenses of the participants shall be charged against Schools’ MOOE/Local
Funds. The first meal will be breakfast to be served at 6:00 — 8:00 AM on Day 1/December
5 & 11", Expenses such as, venue, accommodation, meals and snacks of the participants,
speakers and members of the training team as well as the training materials/tarp shall be
charged against Division HRD/MOOE Funds, subject to its availability and the usual
accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
11, This Memorandum serves as Authority to Travel of the participants, speakers and
the members of the training team.
12. Wide dissemination of and strict compliance of this Memorandum is desired.
