(2) ारा !दत शि#य$ का उपयोग करते 'ए तथा *टेनलेस *टील उ-पाद (गुणव1ा िनयं3ण) आदेश, 2016, का अिध5मण

करते 'ए, िसवाए उन काय6 को छोड़कर जो हो चुके ह< अथवा इस अिध5मण से पहले करने से वंिचत रह गए है, क?@ीय

सरकार यह मत रखते 'ए
क सावBजिनक िहत म? ऐसा करना आवDयक है, भारतीय मानक यूरो से परामशB करने के पEात्

िनGिलिखत आदेश पाHरत करती है, नामशः-

1. संिJK शीषBक, !ारं भ और लागू होना – (1) इस आदेश को *टेनलेस *टील उ-पाद (गुणव1ा िनयं3ण) आदेश, 2018

कहा जाएगा।

(2) यह आदेश शासकय राजप3 म? इसके !काशन क ितिथ से !वृत होगा।

(3) यह *टेनलेस *टील उ-पाद$ पर लागू होगा, ले
कन जो उ-पाद िनयाBत के िलए ह$गे, उन पर यह लागू नहP

होगा।

2. मानक$ का अनुपालन: इस तािलका के कॉलम (3) म? िविनSदBT !-येक उ-पाद उ# तािलका के कॉलम (5) म? िनSदBT

तारीख$ से कॉलम (2) म? िनSदBT संबंिधत भारतीय मानक$ के अनुWप होगा।

ORDER
New Delhi, the 20th June, 2018
S.O. 2998(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 16 of the
Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016) and in supersession of the Stainless Steel Products (Quality
Control) Order, 2016, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the
Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do in the public interest after
consulting the Bureau hereby makes the following order, namely:-
1. Short title commencement and application.- (1) This order may be called the Stainless Steel Products
(Quality Control) Order, 2018.
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

(3) It shall apply to stainless steel products, but nothing herein shall apply to such products meant for
export.

2. Conformity to standards. - Every product specified in column (3) of the table shall conform to the
corresponding Indian Standards specified in column (2) of the said table with effect from the dates
specified in column (5) thereof.
3. Date of effect of amendment or revision in Indian Standards.- When any amendment or revision is made
by the Bureau to any of the Indian Standards specified in the table, such amendment or revision shall
apply to this order with effect from the date notified by the Bureau in this behalf.
