Super easy baby mittens

ENGLISH – STANDARD AMERICAN TERMS

MATERIALS
Ovillos.com Gala yarn 8 in baby pink and dark pink, or any colors you like.
3,5mm knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge
Tapestry needle

GAUGE
4 x 4” (10 x 10 cm.) in stockinette stitch: 20 stitches x 28 rows

STITCHES USED
Stockinette stitch
2 x 2 ribbing

SIZES
0-3 months (3-6 months) (9-12 months) When only one number is given, it applies to all
sizes.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
0-3 months: 10 cm. (4”) from cuff to tip - 7 cm. (2,75”) wide.
3-6 months: 12 cm. (4,75”) from cuff to tip - 7 cm. (2,75”) wide.
9-12 meses: 14 cm. (5,50”) from cuff to tip - 9 cm. (3,55”) wide.

ABBREVIATIONS
K: knit
P: purl
M1: make 1

PATTERN
Cast on 24 (24) (32) stitches in dark pink yarn.

Continue in 2x2 ribbing for 3 (3,5) (4) cm. [1,18” (1,38”) (1,58”)]

Next row: 0-3 and 3-6 months: k1,m1, *k3, m1* repeat from * to * (now you have 32 st.)
9-12 months: k1, m1, *k4, m1* repeat from * to * (now you have 40 st.)

Next row: purl

Next row: Change to baby pink yarn, knit

Next row: purl

Continue in stockinette stitch alternating 2 dark pink and 2 baby pink rows for a total of 3
(4) (5) baby pink stripes.

Change to dark pink and continue in

stockinette stitch until work measures 10
(12) (14) cm [4” (4,75”) (5,50”)] including
cuff.

Cut the yarn leaving a long tail for sewing.

Cut the yarn and thread a tapestry needle,
then thread through all stitches and pull
tightly to close the tip.

Sew the side seam, carefully matching the

stripes.

Weave in ends.

Make second mitten equal.

Agujas de 3,5mm o del número adecuado para obtener los puntos de la muestra
Aguja de lana sin punta.

MUESTRA
4 x 4” (10 x 10 cm.) en punto de jersey: 20 puntos x 28 pasadas

PUNTOS USADOS
Punto jersey (1 pasada del derecho y una del revés)
Elástico 2 x 2 (*2 der, 2 rev *, repetir de * a*)

TALLAS
0-3 meses (3-6 meses) (9-12 meses) Donde sólo haya una indicación, es válida para las tres
tallas.

MEDIDAS DE LA PRENDA TERMINADA

0-3 meses: 10 cm. (4”) desde el puño hasta la punta - 7 cm. (2,75”) de ancho.
3-6 meses: 12 cm. (4,75”) desde el puño hasta la punta - 7 cm. (2,75”) de ancho.
9-12 meses: 14 cm. (5,50”) desde el puño hasta la punta - 9 cm. (3,55”) de ancho.

rev: punto del revés
aum: aumento (aumentar cogiendo la hebra de la pasada anterior)

REALIZACIÓN
Montar 24 (24) (32) puntos en rosa oscuro.

Seguir a punto elástico 2x2 hasta tener 3 (3,5) (4) centímetros

Siguiente pasada: Realizar los 8 aumentos así:

Para 0-3 meses y 3-6 meses: 1 der, 1 aum, *3 der, 1 aum*, repetir de * a * (tenemos 32
puntos)

Para 9-12 meses: 1 der, 1 aum, *4 der, 1 aum*, repetir de * a * (tenemos 40 puntos)

Siguente pasada: rev

Siguiente pasada: Cambiar a rosa bebé. der

Siguiente pasada: rev

Continuar alternando 2 pasadas en punto jersey en rosa oscuro con 2 pasadas en rosa bebé
hasta tener 3 (4) (5) rayas en rosa bebé.

Cambiar a rosa oscuro y seguir a punto jersey hasta tener 10 (12) (14) cm. (4” (4,75”) (5,50”))
de largo total.

Cortar el hilo un poco largo para poder coser. Enhebrar la aguja y pasar el hilo por todos los
puntos.

Tirar del hilo para fruncir la punta de la

manopla, asegurar con un par de puntadas y
coser el lateral procurando que coincidan las
rayitas.

Rematar y esconder las hebras.

Hacer una segunda manopla igual.
