Organization Behavioural change in case of

Mergers & Acquisitions:-


One of the major factor in Mergers and Acquisitions is change. An employee evolves from
announcement of the change to the final stage. The Human resource team has to get the employees
acquainted with the change in order to survive in an organization. Organizations stepping into
Mergers and Acquisitions have differed in cultures and the way these cultures are managed decides
the success or failure of the firm’s future. Most of the employees major areas of concern post
acquisition in Infogain were as follows:-

 Uncertainity of job after Acquisition


 Transfer Fear
 Loss of Identity
 New Leadership styles
 New rules and regulations
 Change of hierarchy
 Work culture
 New appraisal methods
 Restructuring of positions
Because of the above mentioned reasons and Infogain’s constant ignorance towards its
acquired entities and being partial towards its own employess resulted in the complete
dissolution of Microsoft Dynamics team.
