Total 8(8,10,10)12,12,14 Count over and place stitch marker in 17th(19th,17th,19th)19th,21st,21st unworked stitch for later(this is where we will join SIDE 2. SIDE 2 Rejoin color A in marked stitch so you are working away from side 1 ROW 1- Sc in same as join, *(sc2tog, ch 1), repeat from * until 1 stitch remains, scin last. ROW 1- Working in ends of each of the 6 rows going up side, work 2 sc in each(total of 12 st to this point), -then work 1 sc in each of the 16(18,16,18)18,20,20 unworked stitches across back, -then working in ends of each of the 6 rows going down side, work 2 sc in each. Total 40(42,40,42)42,44,44 = Keeacne ROW 2- Turn, ch 1, scin same, *sc2tog, ch 1, repeat from * until 1 remains, scin last. Total 40(42,40,42)42,44,44 Work row 2 a total of 8(10,8,10)10,12,12 rows, tie off with long tail to sew collar to pullover. Fold one flap down and use whip stitch to sew shawl to pullover going through back loop only of pullover and ends of each row of flap as shown below. Then fold down other side and do the same EDGING For right side, join in end of bottom row of front, sc in end of each row going up front, then down back. For left side, join in end of bottom row of back, sc in each of each row going up back, then down front. Optional: Buttons: Sew buttons on going through front and back section to keep sides closed.
