Dear Students,

The most awaited time of the year i.e., the summer

vacations are round the corner. Happiness is in the air.
For our little scholars like you, it is the time to rejoice,
relax and get rejuvenated. At the same time, it is also the
time for some learning to take place.

Following are some activities that can help in making your holidays meaningful and
interesting so that you come back to school refreshed and revitalized.
 Begin your day by counting your blessings and say……
“I am blessed and I have got one more day. I open my eyes to a beautiful day full of light and love. I focus
on good in everything I do. I will be peaceful and happy and not allow outside circumstances to disturb
my happiness. I honour myself and I am grateful for all that I have.”
 Wind up your day with five minutes of reflection.
 Go for nature walk and explore the beauty of nature. Replenish your energy by doing Yoga,
Mahaprandhvani and Aerobics
 Have at least two meals with your family and learn the value of resources.
 Visit your neighbourhood and try to build a bond with your neighbours.
 Avoid chocolates, aerated drinks and junk food items.
 Practice English conversation at home.
**Get some story books and read loudly for twenty minutes (10 English + 10 Hindi) every day
in front of the mirror.
Dear parents,

Please make these holidays memorable for your children. For this:
 Play with them, and talk to them about their problems, aspirations etc.
 Narrate anecdotes and share your experiences about summer vacations when you were in school and
give them a glimpse into your childhood.

 Encourage them to read, dance, paint and sing. Motivate them to pursue a hobby.
 Develop an effective diet plan for your child and always remind him/her to stay hydrated by drinking
a lot of water and fluids.
 Teach your child the importance of maintaining cleanliness not only at home but in neighbourhood
also.
 Inculcate in your child the habit of preserving and conserving water and other energy resources.
 Help them set and achieve goals for self-improvement and motivate them by your own active
participation.

Happy Holidays !
