INTRODUCTION

Elevated triglyceride level has been associated with a lot of cardiovascular diseases (CVD). We know that
serum triglyceride is affected by genetic factors and nutrition because of a lot of epidemiologic studies
on the relationship between dietary of single nutrients or food on disease incidence. There have been
several previous studies that indicate genes, polymorphism of ADRβ genes, modify the effect of nutrient
of dietary factors on serum triglyceride levels but there isn’t any combined effect of dietary pattern and
these ADRβ polymorphisms on serum triglyceride level.
