VOCABULARY

 Morsel: It is a tiny piece or amount of something, especially food.


 Gravy: It is a sauce made by combining this juice with flour, seasoning.
 Scowl: The definition of a scowl is a gloomy or intimidating look.
 Upper: in a place or on a level above
another: upper lip, upper jaw, upper floor or higher in rank, authority, or
dignity: the upper classes

 Superless: Without supper and Supper is a light evening meal.

- Synonym: Evening meal

 Jaw: The definition of jaw is the two hinged bones that frame the mouth
and hold the teeth.

 Struck: Struck is a person or thing that has been hit or attacked, or


affected by a labor strike.
Synonym: Hit

 Knuckle: The definition of knuckle is a joint at the hand or toe that sticks
out when you make a fist

 Tram: A cable car, especially one suspended from an overhead cable

 Wicked: is someone or something who is cruel or acts in an evil way


 Pang: is a sharp and sudden physical or emotional pain.
- An example of a pang is jealousy felt from seeing your recent ex-
girlfriend in a restaurant with her new boyfriend.
- She has a pang in his back

 Hatred: is a feeling of intense dislike. When you really, really dislike


someone, this is an example of a time when you feel hatred towards that
person
 Wistful: refers to being full of melancholy or yearning, or having a
mournful or regretful longing. An example of wistful is when you look
back on your past and wish you had done something differently.
