1. Objective – what should this application do for the user?

a. My app will allow the user to make a reservation to any restaurant within a 20

mile radius. If they don’t know what restaurant they want to eat at, the search tool

will show the different types of restaurants they can choose from; Chinese,

Mexican, America, Meditteranian, etc. Once they select the type of food, they will

have a list of all the restaurants of that type in the area. They will then have the

option to select what time they want to make a reservation. They will then enter

their name and phone number, so they can be called if they do not show.

2. Describe Target Audience - who is this application designed for?

a. This app is designed for anyone who wants to make a reservation. It is not

designed for anyone specifically.

3. Projected Outcomes and Benefits – how could this application benefit others?

a. This app could benefit others by helping them save time. Some restaurants can

have really long wait times and with this app the person doesn’t have to wait at

the restaurant to be seated, they can just drive up when there reservation was

made and be seated right away. It can also be helpful for someone to try to find a

good restaurant in the area. Also, it is helpful that you can make a reservation to

any restaurant in the area through one app, instead of having to go on the internet

and doing research there.

4. Description of Content – what media will be incorporated (photos, illustrations,

animation, sounds, video, text?) Describe the style and tone of the content.

a. The style of this app will be minimal to make it easy to read. The color palette

will include; red, white, black, and yellow. The text will all be the same

throughout to keep it simple and readable, only the titles of restaurants and tabs

will be in bold. The photos included will be the sign of each restaurant next to

their name. There will be illustrations/icons for each type of restaurant and for the

settings (home, search, make a reservation, etc). There will be no sound included

in this app.
