THE DESCRIPSTION OF ACADEMIC PROCRASTINATION

ON NURSING PROFESSION STUDENT IN BANYUMAS

ABSTRACT
Research Background : Academic procrastinasion is a delaying behaviour on
starting or finishing a task. Nursing profession students have different levels on
academic procrastinasion.
Research Objective : This research is aimed to find out the description of
academic procrastinasion on nursing profession students in Banyumas
Research Method : The research uses quantitative descriptive study method with
cross sectional as the type of design. The sampling technique is total sampling
(230 students). Frequency distribution and presentage will be used as tool on
analyzing catagorical data.
Results : Nursing students has sex proportion with the dominance of female
student (77,4%). Most of them are on the medical surgical nursing clinic stage and
the majority of them live in boarding house. Most of the respondents conduct the
academic procrastinasion behaviour on the medium category with a precentage
168%.
Conclusion : Most of the respondents conduct the academic procrastinasion on
medium category.
