INTRODUCTION :
As parents, they should know about sex education. Sex education does not
encourage children to have sex either. Kids will gather all the information from
sex education. Sex education is required to be implemented at an early age so that
children can be exposed to sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). First, when
children have information and knowledge, they may find that if they have unsafe
sex, they may be at risk for various diseases such as STI and HIV. It can also lead
to unwanted pregnancies (Population Health Center, 2013). Furthermore, when
children are exposed, they find that people who have sex without appropriate
condoms are at higher risk for various types of sexually transmitted diseases (The
Nemours Foundation, 2015). They must understand the consequences they will

face if there is a misunderstanding about sex. There are many types of diseases
that can be transmitted through skin contact, including herpes, chlamydia, genital
warts, vaginitis, hepatitis virus and HIV (State of New York, Department of
Health). Sometimes, children are more likely to adopt an unacceptable attitude to
other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). Sometimes they are more
comfortable treating themselves without the proper means. In addition, there are
cases where some girls have sex for financial reasons, and at the same time they
are at high risk for copying and transmitting other HIV and STDs. They are also
exposed to physical and social elements that may affect their health, have
repeated illnesses and infections that are inadequate and use recreational drugs
(Anarfi JK, 1997). Therefore, it shows that sex education at a young age can
expose children to the correct information about sexually transmitted diseases.
Another reason why the need for sex education is taught at an early age is
due to unwanted or unwanted pregnancy problems, abortion, abortion, which can
lead to serious long-term health effects and maternal death. First, unmarried
adolescents have bizarre issues such as violence, discrimination, and at the same
time inflict psycho-social pressure on them (bioline.org.br). This is also a phase
in life marked by vulnerability to risky sexual behaviors and worse reproductive
health outcomes such as premarital sex, unwanted pregnancies, sexually
transmitted diseases (STDs) such as HIV / AIDS, mental stress and social
violence. In addition, about 1.7 million pregnant teenage girls lost their lives due
to pregnancy-related complications. In addition, cases of abortion are epidemic
in Malaysia especially when children and adolescents are underage. Some of
them do not know what sex can do to them (Shayana, 2018). Abortion can lead
to high infant mortality due to inadequate medical care. Parents of teenagers who
abandon their responsibility to leave the baby cause the death of the child may

their voice. Next, as an adults it is a must for them to be a comfortable place for
children to tell their unreaveled story. Wrongdoer always use secret-keeping to
manipulate children feelings. We must always let children know they can always
rely on us. If there is any discomfort feeling to express, just let us know. If they
see someone touching another kids, they should not keep this to themselves
(Rainn, 2019). There is research showing that eight percent of primary school
students have been forced to have intercourse, while one in ten students say they
have committed sexual violence. Better understanding of sex education let young
people know what constitutes sexual violence and how to ask for help if they
have been assaulted (Advocates for youth, 2014). Therefore, it is clear that as an
adult it is important to instill awareness and make children understand they also
have the right to speak when they are disturbed.
