Module Reflection Questions:

1. Implementation of feedback:

In 1-2 paragraphs describe in detail your plan to revise your project based on the
feedback you received. Identify elements that you are able to modify, as well as any that
are not reasonable given time, expertise, and cost, etc.

I plan to add a few changes to my project. I did do a spoken format of poetry and it was
a great project according to my peers. My peers did not mention any revisions that
needed to be made to my project. I feel that the only revision I may need is to maybe
put more enthusiasm in my voice when reading this. It feels a bit disconnected to me
because I was talking to a computer rather than face to face with another human.
Poems are all about the emotion it brings to the table and the way that the words make
the audience/readers feel. I would want my project to have a bit more personality. I
would recite it with more emphasis to bring it more life and then resubmit it.

2. Learning Reflection:

Looking back over your project and feedback, describe in 1-2 paragraphs what you have
learned about the process of revision and iteration. Based on your experiences describe
how you might approach this same project if you started again - what would you do
differently, the same, etc.?

I think that my work was very well put together. If I were to approach this again, I may
have gone with a different type of multimedia for this project. Maybe a video
presentation would have done more justice to my philosophy of education. My
philosophy has to do with self-expression and creativity. It also has to do with doing
what is best for my students. At least with a video, there will be a visual of my facial
expressions, and more voice and heart within my poem. I would have also added sound
effects and music in the video so that it is appealing to more viewers. Other than that, I
believe my content was full of heart and portrayed the message I needed it to.

3. Alternative Use / Future directions

In 1-2 paragraphs describe how the technology you focused on for your project might be
used in a way you had not initially considered? What are some real or hypothetical use
cases of the technology that we haven't considered?

In my project, I explained how technology may not be as beneficial for students as I would like
to teach them. I showed how pencil and paper improve the retention of information, and how
humor will also provide students positive information. Technology is more of a distraction, and
instead of trying to find their way around a computer system, it would be useful to enhance their
penmanship and learn with hands-on activities. Not all students will learn effectively by using
computers, so this is why I am explaining why we should not use more advanced technology.
