Learning Objective K.9 The student will compare two objects or events, using
direct comparisons, according to one or more of the following
attributes: length (longer, shorter), height (taller, shorter),
weight (heavier, lighter), temperature (hotter, colder), volume
(more, less), and time (longer, shorter).
Pedagogy Activity I would use this interactive white board assignment as extra
practice/ formative assessment after the lesson was taught. I
would first place the students in groups but they would still
be sitting at their desks where they can still see the
Promethean board. As I go to each slide I would take a
moment to explain what is going on in the slide and how
they should go about anwering the problem. They will then
turn to their group and come up with how they would solve
the problem. I will then call on one group member from one
group that will come up and drag and drop using the "pen"
and solve the problem and explain why his/her group
decided to go through the steps that they did. I would do this
for every slide, calling on different group members from
different groups.
