DATE OF EXAMINATION — 22.12.2019 SILIGURI JALPAIGURI DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY Syllabus of Written test for the post of Sub-Assistant Engineer (Civil):- Written Examination (200 marks): OMR based written examination of 200 marks consisting of multiple choice, objective type of 100 questions of Diploma level Examination in Civil Engineering as approved by the AICTE carrying 2 (two) marks each will be conducted. There will be negative marking of 1 (one) mark each for every incorrect / wrong answer. The Examination will be on the standard of Course content of Post Graduate Diploma in Town Planning, Regional Planning and Transport Planning and on the course of Degree Examination in Architecture and Civil Engineering. Question will be set in English and time allowed will be 2 (two) hours, Syllabus of Written test for the post of Assistant Computer:- Written Examination (200 marks): OMR based written examination of 200 marks consisting of multiple choice, objective type of 100 questions of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics of Higher Secondary ‘standard carrying 2 (two) marks each will be conducted. There will be negative marking of 1 (one) mark each for every incorrect / wrong answer. Question will be set in English and time allowed will be 2 (two) hours. Syllabus of Written test for the post of Surveyo: Written Examination (200 marks): OMR based written examination of 200 marks consisting of multiple choice, objective type of 100 questions of English, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Mathematics (Madhyamik Standard), Reasoning and on Course content of Diploma in Survey Engineering carrying 2 (two) marks each will be conducted. There will be negative marking of 1 (one) mark each for every incorrect / wrong answer. Question will be set in English and time allowed will be 2 (two) hours. Contd, PI2,Personality Test: 40 marks Candidates about 3 (three) times of the vacancy, will be called on merit basis for Personality Test, subject to obtaining qualifying marks @ 45% for General Candidates, @ 40% 0.B.C. (A) & 0.B.C. (B) Candidates and @ 35% for S.C., S.T. & P.H. Candidates. N.B. - 1) CALCULATOR / PAGER / MOBILE PHONE / TABS OR ANY OTHER TYPE OF ELECTRONIC GADGET OF COMMUNICATION ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED IN THE EXAMINATION HALL. In case of non-receipt of Admit Card or any difficulty in down loading Admit Card Candidate may contact Office of the West Bengal Municipal Service Commission 19" & 20" December, 2019 between 11.00A.M. and 4.00 P.M. for issuing Admit Card(s).
