missions and resources to achieve those targets.

It is a process of developing a (strategic) plan for

modifying an enterprise business processes through the
modification of policis, procedures,and processes to move
the organization from an “ as is “state to a “to be” state .

WHY IT IS IMPORTANT IN AN
ORGANIZATION

employees to learn new skills,explore new opportunities and exercise their creativity in
ways that ultimately benefit the organization through new ideas and increased
commitment”

“This contingency plan is designed to supplement a larger
business continuity plan and ensure that the security and privacy
requirements of HIPAA and the due diligence of risk management are
taken into account “

 PURPOSE:
The contingency plan endeavors to protect the confidentiality,intregrity and
availibiltyof protected health information (PH).The purpose of organization
contingency plan is to identify essential business operations or functions :
and the plans to enable an effective recovery from an event that affects the
normal operation of organization .

IT CONTIGENCY PLANNING MUST ADRESS THREE TYPES OF

DISRUPTIONS:

 Closure of facility (such as damage to a building).

 Reduced workforce(such as due to pandemic flu)
 Technological equipment or systems failture (such as IT system
failture)

product .. by contrast, market planning involves all of the external
facing steps , that defines a product feature set. Product planning
is the process of creating a product idea and following through
until the product is introduced to the market.”
