Subject - Mental Health Society Proposal

Respected Ma'am

As observed, the new generation is facing problems managing their mental health and wellbeing.
Mental Health problems are common with adolescents and often wreck their creative potential.
Youth dealing with emotional and behavioral disorders have a worse graduation rate of all the
students with disabilities. However, awareness and programs can help improve resilience and the
ability to cope up with the same.

Adolescents regularly witness bullying, peer pressure, stress, e.t.c Bad mental health can affect
classroom learning and social interactions, key pointers to students' success. However, with
guidance, we can maximize success and one's growth in every field.

Regarding the same, we would like to propose the inception of the 'Mental Health Society" under
the guidance of Ms. Ekta Chauhan, Head of Department (Psychology). With the help of this
society, we would like to give access to the right information on issues related to mental health
and emotional well-being.

The schedule for the year would be headed by properly trained volunteers and the teacher-in-
charge. Thereby, we request you to give a go-ahead for the same. We'll ensure that the society
members work efficiently for the cause and reach out to our purpose.
